Basic Kale Smoothie
A straight kale smoothie is full of rich earthy flavor.  Add garnishes or leave alone.  One of the most nutritious ingredients you can add to any smoothie is kale.


-1 cup  kale 
-cup ice

for additional flavor add one or more of mint, lemon, honey, basil or dates
